Drew signed for Rugby Town in July 2022 from Hinckley.

The then 21-year-old signed a contract with Rugby in September 2022 until the end of the season as the club won promotion from the UCL Premier Division South.

Drew had missed a large chunk of the season with a hamstring injury but was still able to make 19 league appearances.

After signing a contract extension, Kear found opportunities more limited in the 2023/24 season and eventually left the club in February 2024.

The right back, who can also operate further forward, had a successful first season in senior football with Hinckley as they finished runners-up in the UCL Division One in 2021/22.

Kear started out with the Strachan Football Foundation before moving to Hinckley.
