Jason signed for Rugby in July 2016 after a spell with AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
The then 33-year-old centre half has played for a wealth of non-league clubs including Kettering Town, Kings Lynn and Banbury.
Lee was widely expected to join Rugby for the 2015/16 before opting to sign for local rivals Daventry.
