Lewis signed for Rugby Town in January 2013 from Leighton Town.
The then 21-year-old winger impressed for Leighton against Valley and Lewis made an instant impact with a debut goal after appearing as a substitute against Daventry Town on New Year's Day.
Lewis played a vital part for Rugby in the latter part of the season with a number of goals & assists and was voted the joint winner of the Players' Player of the Season award.
Work commitments and injury limited McBride's progress in the 2014/15 season but still won the Media Star Man award.
McBride left the club in June 2015.
After spells with Stony Stratford, Bedford Town and Aylesbury United, McBride had two good seasons with Leighton which included nine goals in 47 games in the 2011/2 season. |
