Ben re-joined Valley in July 2025 from Coleshill Town.
The then 25-year-old goalkeeper did have a brief spell with Rugby in 2021 but returned to Lye Town and eventually helped them to promotion to the NPL Midlands in 2023.
Unfortunately Ben's second stint with Valley was even shorter limited to just one FA Cup appearance before leaving.
Newey followed Grant Joshua to Coleshill in 2024/25 but his appearances were affected by injury.
Previously on the books with Birmingham City and Burton Albion as a youngster, Ben also had a spell as number two at Leamington. |
