Elliot signed for Rugby in September 2016 from Midland Football League side Coventry United.
The then 21-year-old strong centre back was looking like establishing himself in the Valley side before a bad injury to his ribs at Bedworth required a stay in hospital and he struggled to regain full fitness before leaving to join Nuneaton Griff in December 2016.
