Mitchell signed for Rugby for his third spell in March 2016 from league rivals Daventry Town.
The striker made his name at Midland Combination level for Nuneaton Griff before joining Bedworth in 2011 & helping them to promotion with 20 goals.
After top scoring for the Greenbacks in the Southern League Premier in 2012/13, Mitchell joined Coalville at the start of the 2013/14 before returning to Bedworth.
Mitchell struggled to hold down a regular first team place and left the club in January 2014 to re-join Bedworth.
After a spell with Daventry, Mitchell joined Rugby for a second stint in November 2014.
Again opportunities were limited for Piggon and he left at the end of the 14/15 season to join Coventry Sphinx.
After a brief spell at Coventry Sphinx he moved to local rivals Daventry for a short stint before rejoining Rugby for a third time.
Piggon enjoyed his best run in a Rugby side under Dale Belford and he left the club at the end of the season. |
