Steve joined the club during the 08/09 pre-season but had to wait until September to make his debut against Hitchin Town.

Steve, who operates on the left side of defence or midfield, took a while to settle in at the club before putting in some impressive performances particularly from the left wing.

The then 22-year-old scored a memorable goal against Brackley Town in December 2008 at Butlin Road with a sweet left foot strike.

Formerly with Corby Town, Steve won the Player of the Season award with Rothwell Town in 2007/8 before joining Valley.

Steve opted to join Quorn of the UniBond League in October 2009.
