Aaron re-signed for his third spell with Rugby in September 2016 over 10 years after he made his debut for Valley.
Stringfellow was one the first signings made by caretaker manager Gary Moran although he left the club in November 2016 to go travelling.
Aaron
was a right-sided player who
spent his junior years with
Coventry City, where he appeared
regularly for the Sky Blue's
reserve side during the 2005/6
season, aged 17.
He
first signed for the Valley
in August 2006 after a trial
with Northampton Town and the
then 18-year-old operated as
a right full-back or in midfield.
Very comfortable on the ball
- especially in the full back
position and won the Player
of the Month award in his first
month at the club.
Aaron
trialled with Blue Squre Northern
side Hinckley United during
the close season before agreeing
terms with Rugby in August 2007.
After
the arrival of new manager Rod
Brown, Aaron found opportunities
limited with the introduction
of Rob Oddy and despite an excellent
season the player left in April
2008.
Valley
boss Lee Colkin re-signed Stringfellow
in February 2010 from Banbury
before leaving once more. |
