Greg joined Rugby in October 2025 from Carlton Town.
The then 32-year-old midfielder had a wealth of experience including spells at Notts County in League One and Lincoln City in the National League early in his career as well as six caps for Northern Ireland U21s.
Greg also enjoyed spells with Nuneaton Borough, Boston United and Gainsborough Trinity in the National League North before more recently having spells with Basford United and Belper Town before first joining Carlton in 2023.
Tempest impressed during his time with the club, but a series of injuries pushed him towards retirement in February 2026.
