Steve joined Rugby Town in June 2015 from Shepshed Dynamo.

The then 30-year-old experienced central midfield player played over 200 games for Corby Town while he also had spells with Brackley, Worksop and Stamford.

Steve had an excellent single season with Valley and played every game before scooping the Manager's Player and Players' Player of the Season awards.

Towers finished the 2014/15 season with Shepshed and collected a couple of Player of the Season accoloades after leaving Loughborough Dynamo earlier that season.

Steve left the club at the end of the season to join newly-promoted Coalville Town.
