The Town players showed terrific commitment to gain the result they deserved for their effort.

The first 20 minutes was very lively and their could have been several goals. James Martin saved a penalty after 15 mins and that seemed to spur Town on, Sean Kelly fired home on 20 mins and that was followed by good chances from Jones, Sweeney and Miller. Town showed great character and attitude in working together as team to to ensure they made it two wins on the trot, well done all of you, Martin, Thomas, Oliver, Shilton, Sweeney, Kelly, Gregson, Farrow, Miller, Jones and Birtwistle.

A deserved win from a totally committed team.

Danny Jones netted midway through the first half where Town had the lions share of the play. Rushall reversed the roles in the second half making Town defend for the majority of the time and nearly made Town pay for missing a couple of earlier chances, but three outstanding saves from James Martin kept Rushall out. Shaun Kelly and James Sweeney both went close after great work, but couldn't quite convert them. A great team effort, well done lads.
