Rugby Town Hawks 2-2 Lutterworth J/Y Typhoon
11 March 2007

The Hawks started the game very confidently during which they created a number of chances which weren’t taken.

Captain (Bradley Ford-kalym) broke the deadlock with a low drive shot. The Hawks carried on missing chances giving Lutterworth a bit of hope allowing them into the game and finally getting a well deserved equaliser. The start of the second half saw the Hawks go from bad to worse when Lutterworth took the lead to make it 2-1, with eight minutes left to play (Ryan Flint-Taylor) finished off with some good team play to make it 2-2, after that it was end to end stuff but neither team could find a winner with the closest Rugby Hawks getting was (Adam Gould) hitting the post.

Squad: Jamie Maunder, Cioyo Miller, Joshua Baker, Bradley Ford-Kalym, Charlie Hawkins, Phillip Dickinson, Adam Gould, Ryan Flint-Taylor, Ben Cooper, Luke Marley

Come on Hawks don't drop your standards now as the season has nearly finished.

Hinckley United Whites 1-4 Rugby Town Hawks
18 February 2007

The Hawks took some time getting used to playing on the astro turf pitch.

Although when the Hawks got going they started to create some chances. Five minutes from half time Hinckley Utd Whites had a free kick from which they scored. The Hawks continued the second half as they finished the first, the Hawks defending duo of [Cioyo Miller & Joshua Baker] were yet again outstanding. With eleven minutes to go the Hawks finally put a chance away with a long range effort from Joshua Baker, and the second goal came from a Hawks corner which Ryan Flint -Taylor slotted home. Hawks continued dominating the game and were rewarded with a third goal finished off by Hawks Captain for the day Charlie Hawkins, it got even better for the Hawks when Callum Howling scored a fourth.

Borough Alliance Robins 1-2 Rugby Town Hawks
14 January 2007

Hawks started the game by passing and moving the ball sweetly.

The Hawks dominated but struggled to find an opening until the 12th minute when some brilliant link up play between the Hawks midfielders (Charlie Hawkins, Adam Gould, Bradley Ford-Kalym) set up Ryan Flint-Taylor to break the deadlock. But the lead only lasted three minutes when Robins had a corner which they equalised from, after half-time the Hawks carried on dominating the play and any chance the Robins did have (Cioyo Miller, Joshua Baker and Ben Cooper) snuffed out. Some more good play by Hawks and they finally scored the winner with five minutes to play with a beautiful placed finish by the skipper Bradley Ford-Kalym.
