Andy is currently Rugby's longest serving player having signed in July 2002 from Shepshed Dynamo, where he had spent 3 years and won Player of the Season awards. 

The never-say-die style defender had a superb first season for Rugby, putting in many a powerful performance and settled down into the squad very well.  A committed and determined player who gives everything to every game.

Andy injured his cruciate ligament and missed the whole of the 2005/6 season and did not return until September 2006 away at Clevedon Town.

Despite finishing the season strongly, more injury problems have ruled Andy completely out of the 2007/8 season having first broken a wrist in a pre-season friendly at Eastwood Town. Since then, the 29-year-old defender has struggled to regain fitness due to an ongoing groin problem.
