Valley host a representative Northampton Town side this afternoon as action returns to Butlin Road for the first time this pre-season.

Following a number of warm-up games and Thursday's 2-0 reversal at Stratford Town, Rugby Town boss Tony Dobson will be hoping to kick-start their campaign against Northampton before the final two friendlies against Bedworth and King's Lynn next week.

Rugby will hope to welcome back last season's top scorer David Kolodynski to the squad for the first time this pre-season. Kolodynski has been sidelined with an ankle injury and will have a late fitness test.

Delroy Gordon and Matt Gearing both picked up knocks in the Stratford game and Dobson will hope both can play.

Rugby will also hope to include midfielder Tom Breward who has been unavailable for the past week.

Meanwhile, Marcel Simpson, Andy Stevens and Ben Twigger are all unavailable through holidays.

Admission is £8 for adults and £4 for OAPs and children.
