Valley
boss Tony Dobson has now got his first
pre-season under his belt since returning
to the club and will now be looking
for his squad to perform when it matters.
There
have been a few ins and outs on the
player front meaning there could be
several debutants on Saturday.
The
likes of Harry Donaghey, Ben Twigger,
Jason Ramsay, Josh Thompson and Allando
Davis are likely to feature in their
first appearances for Valley.
Goalkeeper
Andy Stevens, who has missed the majority
of pre-season, will return between
the sticks while David Staff is available
after missing the King's Lynn game.
Rugby
visited Swindon in very different
cirumstances in the penultimate game
last season needing a point to ensure
safety.
Marine ran out 3-1
winners on the night but that
proved to be academic as Rugby secured
Premier Division status anyway.
Rugby
have won once at Hunts Copse back
in 2007 when a 10-man Valley came
out 1-0
winners with David Stone scoring
the only goal.
Supermarine
were the surprise package last season
- particularly in the first half of
the season as they were challenging
right at the top until the New Year.
A
slump of form meant that Swindon slipped
down to midtable but they will surely
to looking to emulate their start
to the season.
The
supporters/players coach leaves Butlin
Road at 11.15am.
Valley
squad from: Andy Stevens,
Dan Bell; Liam Nicell, Harry Donaghey,
Craig Herbert, Delroy Gordon, Sean
Castleton; Matt Gearing, Allando Davis,
David Staff, Ben Twigger, Steve Purton,
Neil Melvin; Josh Thompson, Jason
Ramsay, Matt Wells, David Kolodynski.
