Valley capped an incredible few days with a scintillating performance in the thrashing of Desborough at Butlin Road.

Town raced to a seven goal lead by half-time and then added five more after the break against their hapless opponents, with strikers Danico Johnson and Dylan Parker both helping themselves to a quadruple return apiece.

There were two changes from the side that had piled eight past Sleaford three days earlier, with Fazel Koriya and Cain Thomas in for Keenah Rosser and Ben Bradshaw, and Town carried on from where they had left off when Danico Johnson laid the ball off for Ryan Seal to steer it past Chris Jones with just five minutes on the clock.

Parker put in a couple of off-target efforts, before Johnson extended Valley's lead when he ran onto Charlie Evans's long through ball to fire home into the bottom corner.

An incisive pass by Seal then played in Parker, whose shot crossed the line despite keeper Jones getting a hand to it and Evans soon added a fourth when he headed home a neat cross by James Hancocks.

Johnson was through again on 29 minutes after Liam Francis had picked him out, with the striker applying another clinical low finish, and the front-man completed his hat-trick in a similar fashion after Seal had once more assumed the role of provider.

Rugby's seventh followed when Koriya dinked one past Jones after yet another Seal assist, with Jones then twice denying Parker in the lead-up to the interval as the home side continued their absolute dominance.

It was a relatively long wait for the next Valley goal after the restart, but it came on 55 minutes when Seal's lofted cross was chested down by Johnson before he secured his fourth of the game with a deflected volley.

It was nine when sub Lee Thomas rolled the ball across the goal for Parker to complete a simple tap-in, with fellow replacement Luckie almost grabbing a tenth when he powered one into the side netting.

At the other end, James Hancocks almost diverted the ball past his own keeper ahead of the completion of Parker's hat-trick when he neatly lifted one over Jones.

Lee Thomas then hit the crossbar with a well-struck effort, before Luckie made it eleven with another close range tap in after Parker had taken advantage of a misplaced pass by a Desborough defender.

Valley keeper Matt Hill was finally called into action by grabbing a goalbound header from Lewis Burgess, with Parker rounding off the scoring with his fourth when he coolly finished after he had played a neat one-two with Caine Elliott.

Valley Line-up: Hill; Clarke, Francis, Recci; Koriya (L.Thomas), Evans, Hancocks, C.Thomas, Seal (Elliott); Parker, Johnson (Luckie). Subs not used: Marsden, Bradshaw.
