The Pitching In Northern Premier League have released the full fixtures for Rugby Town's 2023/24 campaign.

Rugby are back in the NPL after promotion at the end of last season and they will kick-off life back at Step Four at home on Saturday 12th August against Sutton Coldfield Town - managed by former Valley boss Dave Stringer.
Sutton Coldfield are a long-time adversary of Valley with 41 previous meetings between the sides although the last competitive meeting was back in 2011 in the FA Trophy, when Stringer was first in charge at Rugby.
The season kicks off a week before the league fixtures start in the Emirates FA Cup against Malvern Town at Butlin Road.
The first league away trip sees to trip to fellow promotees Quorn on Tuesday 15th August.
Some of the fixtures early in the season will be subject to change depending on progress of teams in the FA Cup and FA Trophy.
Rugby will host Harborough Town on the August Bank Holiday fixture with the return game on New Year's Day.
The traditional Boxing Day fixture will see well-supported Gresley Rovers visit Butlin Road with the reverse fixture on Easter Monday on 1st April.
Since Carl Adams joined the club back in 2018, Rugby have won three and drawn two of the opening league games of the season, including last season's 2-1 win over Cogenhoe United at Butlin Road.
The last time Rugby an opening game of the season at Step Four (Southern League/Northern Premier League) was under the management of Stringer in 2013 when David Kolodynski was on target in a 2-0 win at Aylesbury United.
