Valley were blown away by an early Boldmere triple salvo to suffer another heavy NPL Midlands defeat.
A quickfire hat-trick from Kevin Ngombi within the opening twenty-one minutes signalled an all too familiar story for Town, with the hosts scoring a fourth in stoppage-time in what proved to be Carl Adams's final match in charge of the club.
Adams made four changes to his farewell starting line-up with Ayo Lekuti, Ethan O'Toole, Harrison Nee and Hilton Arthur in for Damien Osoimoejiokhian, Tyreace Brown, Chris Clements and Silvano Obeng.
Rugby once more found themselves behind early doors when a suspiciously-looking offside Ngombi ran onto Richard Batchelor's headed ball forward to squeeze a low shot from a tight angle past Paul Hathaway with just two minutes on the clock.
Town were nearly immediately back on level terms though, after Nee helped Arthur's cross onto Trey Charles - whose shot was excellently kept out by Jono Brown in the Mikes' goal.
Ngombi then found himself in behind the visitors' defence again, but this time was denied by a good saving tackle from Liam Francis, before Nee was thwarted at the other end after Brown was quickly off his line to claim the ball.
A Batchelor volley deflected away for a corner, before the home side made it two on 19 minutes when Ngombi scored once more from a difficult angle - with Hathaway only able to apply a weak hand to a shot which then squirmed over the line.
Boldmere's and Ngombi's third came shortly after when ex-Valley full-back Ben George picked out the rampant striker with a cross for him to head home.
Keiron Berry's delivery into the box saw Nee fail to properly execute an acrobatic effort to it, before the hosts ended the first half in full control and they threatened to take the game further away from Town in the run up to the interval.
Hisham Chiha's strike deflected wide, before the same player clipped the top of the Valley crossbar with a corner, and then another ex-Butlin Roader Theo Rowe curled one wide.
Before the half-time whistle was blown, Oliver West and Tyler Donaldson also put in off-target attempts, with Valley skipper Josh Thomas denying Ngombi his fourth with a neat tackle in the final play of the period.
The second half started quietly, although it was Boldmere that registered the first efforts of it with Charlie Manners heading over and West sending a free-kick from a dangerous position wide.
Obeng released Charles in a rare moment of threat for the visitors, but Town's top scorer was tackled before he was able to shoot, before the Mikes messed up a quick counter attack by failing to take advantage of a four player on one overload.
Brown was then called into some action though with two decent saves to strikes from Charles - the first from a wide position which saw a low parry from Brown, and the second after Charles had cut in and fired off a powerful shot.
Another low shot from Charles was pushed away by Brown as Rugby continued to look for a consolation, with Lekuti also sending one over the bar.
However it was to be third successive outing without a goal for Rugby, and to rub salt into their ever-increasing wounds Manners raced onto a lofted through ball in the first minute of added-time and saw his low effort deflect off Thomas and into the net.
