Rugby Town ran out comfortable winners on the 3G Butlin Road training pitch against Tividale in their second pre-season outing.
Lower level Tividale made life difficult for Rugby in the sweltering conditions with a dogged, low-block formation but goals from Caine Elliott, Rivel Mardenborough and trialist Leo Wood ensured a second pre-season win.
There was a first appearance of pre-season for Ryan Sahota while new signing Paul Ibhadon also featured from the start.
Valley fans also got their first sight of new centre back Ethan Hanson who returned from holiday and played the second half while Harry Cunningham, who has been recovering from injury, came on as a second half team.
Missing were Curvin Sanderson-Ellis and Adam Hanson, who remain on the sidelines through injury, as well as Nathan Kabeya, Harry Lake, Callum Griffin and Dilano Reid due to holiday and Sam Tye who was ill.
Olly West struck the post with low fizzing effort from 25 yards early on before Elliott opened the scoring from a similar distance with a fine first time shot which found the top corner.
The visitors were almost instantaneously level when Ezekiel Agyemang was allowed to nod home from close range after a corner but Rugby's lead was restored in the first half when Sam Ellis saw a superb, curled effort from outside the area bounce off the underside of the bar before Mardenborough nodded in the rebound.
Bleu McNeil blazed over from inside the area early in the second half before Wood's flicked near post effort hit the upright.
Valley were soon three up after Elliott's strong run and throughball fed Wood who made no mistake to beat the keeper from an angle one-on-one.
Harrison Nee was unlucky not to add to the tally with a shot from outside the area when it was deflected wide before McNeil saw another first time shot in the area come close but this time it was saved.
