Two late strikes rescued Rugby Town a point at Loughborough University.
It was looking very bleak when Loughborough's Hussein Issa doubled the hosts' advantage with 12 minutes remaining but Rivel Mardenborough's strike gave Rugby a route back into the game before Caine Elliott's goal with practically the last kick of the game earned a draw.
All the game's goals came after the restart, after a blank first-half which had seen Rugby keeper Marcus Bald deny Marcus Gilpin and Issa while Stan Anaebonam and Rivel Mardenborough both sent decent chances wide for the visitors.
Issa's pacy run down the right set up Gilpin for the opener on 54 minutes though, before goalbound shots from Anaebonam and Harrison Nee's were blocked at the other end.
Issa looked like he had made the game safe with a clinical finish after sub Matt Rennie had broken quickly, but Mardenborough's low strike on the turn pulled one back with seven minutes remaining.
The equaliser came deep into stoppage-time when Caine Elliott's free-kick from the left appeared to take a slight deflection off a Loughborough defender and drifted in.
