There was late drama at Butlin Road as Jack Concannon snatched victory deep into stoppage-time to end Valley's five league game winless run.
Warwick had perhaps edged the first-half and should have broke the deadlock when Aaron Opuku smashed one against the bar with an open goal in front of him after Jack Edwards had squared the ball across.
Opuku struck another one wide ahead of the interval while for Rugby both Rivel Mardenborough and Josh Thomas headed wide from decent positions following corners.
The visitors starting the new period brightly too when Edwards's rising effort was taken high by Town keeper Marcus Bald.
Rugby improved as the half continued though, with Concannon firing wide from the edge of the box before his match-winning moment at the death, when he ran onto Geoffrey Lundoloki's through-ball to coolly slot home.
Full report to follow.
