Rugby Town produced another dominant performance at Godmanchester Rovers to chalk up a ninth successive win and climb to the top of the UCL Premier South.
Sam Tye bagged a hat-trick, to take his tally to 12 for the season, as well as an assist for Zidan Sutherland after Lewi Burnside had opened the scoring for Rugby.
Burnside made it two goals in two games inside ten minutes when Godmanchester goalkeeper Max Rigby spilled his shot from just outside the box into the net.
Rugby then missed a litany of chances before Sam Tye did the trick to double the lead ten minutes before the break when he swiveled in the area to fire a loose ball into the corner.
Valley came out quick in the second half and a neat series of passes from back to front led to the third goal culminating in Tye slipping the ball through for Sutherland to cut inside his man before finishing calmly past Rigby.
Tye headed in his second from Rivel Mardenborough's left-wing looped cross and then completed his trio with a close range finish from Sutherland's low cross from the right.
