The 80s saw Bashley win four promotions to gain entry to the Southern League Premier where their best finish was 4th place in 1992.

However, after relegation in 1994, Bash dipped a little and languished in the regional Southern League divisons and even had two seasons in the Isthmian League before returning to the BGB South & West Division in 06/07 when they won the league comfortably to return to the Premier.
