Having been divisional rivals for many seasons, Rugby are never too happy to see Cirencester Town's name on the fixture list - given Valley's record against the Centurions.

Cirencester were play-off contenders in 2005 but quickly slipped into a relegation battle in the following two seasons and were luckily saved from demotion in 2007 to the Midland Division due to other teams entering administration and suffering double relegations.
