Local
Northamptonshire rivals Corby Town earned
promotion to the Southern League Premier
Division in 2006 and in their first season
they seemed destined for relegation.
The
Steelmen finished 10 points adrift of safety,
but due to Lancaster City & Farnborough
Town's financial difficulties, Corby earned
a reprieve meaning another season of Premier
Division football.
With
new investors for the 07/08 season, Corby
are hoping to be a force to be reckoned
with.
