Backed by their huge following, King's Lynn are a constant threat at the top of the Southern League Premier table.

The start of the 06/07 season saw the Linnets top the division and progress to the 2nd round of the FA Cup made them look unbeatable, but when manager Tommy Taylor departed, so too did their good form and they had to settle for a play-off place. Unfortunately they were defeated in the play-off semi final by eventual winners Maidenhead United, but they will surely be favourites again for the 07/08 season.
