Trey joined Rugby in July 2024, signing a one-year contract.

The 30-year-old forward was most recently with previous division rivals Cambridge City after spells with Southern League Premier Central sides Stamford and Barwell last season.

Trey, who can operate through the middle or from the wing, has a wealth of non-league experience with stellar seasons in Step Four with Kempston Rovers in 21/22 and St Neots Town in 22/23.

Aside from the recent spells with Stamford & Barwell, Charles has also featured in Step Three on a number of other occassions including for Hitchin Town between 2017-19 and Biggleswade Town between 2019-21.
