Louis agreed to join Rugby in May 2026 from Aylestone Park.

The 30-year-old winger became the club's first new arrival of the summer after an impressive record of goals and attacking output in recent seasons.

Samuels spent last season with his boyhood club Aylestone in the UCL Premier South, scoring 26 goals, having previously netted 24 goals across spells for Shepshed Dynamo in the NPL Midlands and Lutterworth Town in the UCL during the 2024/25 campaign.

Earlier stints with Aylestone and Lutterworth also saw him consistently produce goals from wide areas, including an impressive 39-goal haul during the 2022/23 season as AP were promoted to the UCL Premier.
