A meeting between Rugby & Halesowen will always bring back memories of the 1983 FA Vase Final at the old Wembley in front of 13,000 fans when Ian Crawley scored the only goal of the game to bring the trophy back to Butlin Road.

But Halesowen weren't to be denied as they won the Vase in the next two years.

Of course, both teams play in too high a division to play in the FA Vase nowadays but Valley and Yeltz have faced each other 13 times in the last six seasons - seperated by no more than one goal on ten occasions.
